Personal

I am a family man, devoted to my two children, in beautiful Oceanside California and I hope to leave behind a legacy of improving others lives via the betterment of human motion. This pursuit has allowed me to meet some of the most interesting people in the world and affect the lives of more people than I could of ever imagined.

I serve my community as the acting Director of Performance of the Oceanside Breakers Soccer Club. The club was founded as a developmental based club to enhance the lives of local children through the art of soccer. I have brought the LTAD and TPI methodology to the soccer club and established a club wide testing, screening and physical development model that is currently serving over 900 young athletes and over 40 coaches. My wisdom in the area of physical screening and junior development are allowing the clubs players to develop more comprehensively along the lines of; athleticism, technical skills, tactical skills and social development.

I first got into golf when I was 8 years old and travelled to my course back in Watertown NY (Ives Hill CC). Upon arriving at the course dressed in Sunday golfing attire I was introduced to the head professional Dan O'Leary. After meeting him, I followed my dad out of the pro shop and up towards the first tee where I was to start my journey into professional golf stardom. However, a big hand grabbing my right shoulder and spinning me around quickly told another tale...I looked up into the old pro's eyes and asked what was going on. He answered by simply handing me two shag bags, pointed to the driving range and said "welcome to your first day of work". Needless to say I was seriously let down, however, four years later I found myself as basically the self proclaimed director of golf and operations! I was closing the pro shop, running tournaments and dealing with inventory before I was a teenager!

The lessons I learned during my summers at the course were invaluable in the areas of discipline, customer service, education, and playing itself. I feel I am where I am today due to those lessons learned nearly 3 decades ago.

My passion now lies within the same confines of my earlier days in Watertown NY at Ives Hill CC. I continue to learn about the golfing business and the ins and outs that come with it. I have learned a tremendous amount of discipline and humility through both this game and the business aspects within. I believe; 'If you ever stop learning it is the day that you start dying in this industry'. Customer service is something I pride myself on and still remember the members that I served over 30 years ago, and those lessons have helped shape who I am today with my current clients both professional and amateur.

My goal is to help my clients. I am very proud of how much I care for the success of my clients and I continue to push myself to be better for them, in all areas of golf and life improvement. It is this passion that keeps me in the game that has helped shape me into the person I am today.

For the last 7 years I have been working with Steve Pelletier and Tony Morgan at Kvest to help direct the field of biomechanics to a higher standing within the field of golf instruction.
